PostSubject: The Missions of the Guild   Tue Jan 30, 2018 9:44 pm

✹ Introduction

Apply this guide when you are performing a mission that was entrusted to you on this forum. The mission can be performed individually or with several companions, it all depends on the type of mission training. Continue reading to find out all about it!

What are the missions and who can give them out?
The missions are a good way to increase your skills by performing different assigned tasks. The Masters and Agents of the guild are the only ones who can supervise and entrust missions to other members.

✹ Requirements of the Missions

Rank A - C

  • You must have the entire mission completed after 6 real life days, with 3 days as a minimum. These days do not need to be in consecutive order.
  • The start of the countdown for when the mission should be completed depends on the day and time of RP. Once a Master creates the forum with the entrusted mission, they will add a start date to determine the 6 days after which will be the end date.

Rank D

  • You must have the entire mission completed after 2 real life days, with 1 day as a minimum.
  • The start of the countdown for when the mission should be completed depends on the day and time of RP. Once a Master creates the forum with the entrusted mission, they will add a start date to determine the 6 days after which will be the end date.

✹ Types of Missions

Depending on your luck, you will be chosen to embark on one of the missions listed below. They are the missions that will be available and that could be assigned to you when you put in the request for one. Eaach of them have their own specifics and minimums that need to be achieved in order to succeed in the missions, so it is important to take notice of them.

Rank A
These missions are the most difficult of them all and are usually intended to be performed outside of the guild's territory, meaning you will be given full permission to leave the territory. If you complete this type of mission successfully, you will gain +20 points to the skill of your choice, but loose -25 of your stamina.

Rank B
These types of missions are less difficult than those in Rank A, but they still propose a challenge. They are usually intended to be performed outside of the Guild's territory and permission to leave will be granted. However, unlike Rank A missions, you are required to have at least one companion (more if available) on these missions who will accompany you throughout the mission. If you complete this type of mission successfully, you will gain +15 points to your chosen skill and loose -15 from your stamina. Your companions will also gain +15 on the same skill and loose -15 from their stamina.

Rank C
These missions have a standard level of difficulty and should be performed within the Guild's territory. You have the option of having an assistant who will help and guide you through throughout the entire mission, but it is not mandatory. If an assistant is requested, they are required to do half of the mission to make the mission easier. When this mission is completed successfully, you will gain +10 points to your chosen skill but loose -10 of your stamina.

Rank D
This type of mission is the easiest and therefor the safest to complete. They are to be completed within the territory and should be done alone. When the mission is completed successfully, you will gain +5 points to the skill of your choice and loose -5 stamina to your stamina.

✹ Becoming a Companion or Assistant

Companions
First of all, a companion can only join in on Rank B missions that have open slots available and have not yet started. You should only be a companion for one mission at a time, so pick your missions carefully before requesting to join one. The code required to join in below and should be sent on the mission's thread once it has been accepted and posted.
Code:
Name: Your character's name.
Position Applying For: Companion or Assistant.
Rank: Your character's current rank.
RP Place: The current location your character is in the RP, to ensure that you are able to join as a companion.

Assistant
The most important thing to be noted about an Assistant is that they do not have to be the Master of the mission. Master and Assistant are two completely roles, where the Master is in charge of supervising the mission and the Assistant is there to help out in the mission. However, if the Master wishes to be both the Assistant and the Master, they can do so. They just have to fill out the form and post it on the mission's thread once it has been accepted and posted.
Code:
Name: Your character's name.
Position Applying For: Companion or Assistant.
Rank: Your character's current rank.
RP Place: The current location your character is in the RP, to ensure that you are able to join as a companion.

✹ I want to go on a Mission!

Requesting a Mission
In order to request a mission, you must go to the form label "Requesting a Mission" found here. Once there, all you have to do is follow the listed instructions and send in your request! After that, all you have to do is wait for a Master to give you clearance and accept your request. They will tell you what your mission will include.

Once Your Mission is Accepted
Once a Master has accepted your mission request and a thread has been made, your deadline countdown will begin. It is important to keep this in mind as all the missions have a set amount of time to be completed successfully.

~Thank you from the ARG Council~
